Prostiva^™ RF Therapy

The Prostiva™ treatment uses precisely directed radio frequency (RF) energy to ablate the prostate tissue. This enables increased urine flow and eliminates obstructive voiding symptoms. With a low incidence of side effects, it may be the right option for your BPH patients who are ready to get off their daily medicines.

The RF energy is delivered through a rigid cystoscope under direct visualization, deploying tiny needle electrodes into the prostate for direct delivery. Prostiva™ is a customized approach to treat median and lateral lobes as well as the asymmetrical prostate gland.

The procedure takes approximately one hour, and patients typically experience quick recovery times. The majority of patients are able to return to many of their normal activities within 24 to 48 hours.
