Evolve® 180 Laser System
Physician Discoveries offers the Evolve® 180 Laser System from Biolitec® for the treatment of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia. The Evolve laser is a180watt diode laser that uses a 980nm wavelength that, combined with the FUSION™ fiber or the unique angled TWISTER® SF Fiber, allows for vaporization and hemostasis of the obstructive prostate tissue while preserving the surrounding tissue. The Evolve® works in continuous or pulsed modes, giving the physician versatility in working with different tissue types. The laser energy is absorbed in water and hemoglobin providing a safe and effective treatment with minimal bleeding, limited post procedure catheterization time, and less discomfort. This allows for a more rapid recovery, allowing the patient to return to regular routine activities in a couple of days and more strenuous activity within 2 weeks.
The combination of this BPH technology and Physician Discoveries' experienced and highly qualified ACLS-trained nursing staff, allows procedures to be performed in an office setting taking approximately 60 minutes. All equipment and supplies are provided as part of our mobile service, including the laser equipment, all cystoscopy supplies, camera, monitor and light source.
Our nurses are solely dedicated to performing BPH procedures and provide assistance to the physician, as well as, excellent care of the patient. This helps ensure a safe and effective treatment plan.
